FULL CYCLE ROTATION / TURNING INSTRUCTIONS

FULL CYCLE ROTATION / TURNING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Prepare the Space Before you begin, clear the area around your mattress to ensure a safe and hassle-free rotation.

Step 2: Gather Necessary Tools You'll need two people for this task. One person should be on each side of the mattress for better support and control.

Step 3: Remove Bedding Strip your bed of all bedding, including sheets, pillows, and blankets.

Rotating the Mattress

Step 1: Initial Position

  • Start with your mattress in its current position. Make sure the bed is clear of any bedding, pillows, and other obstructions.

Step 2: Rotate the Mattress

  • Rotate the mattress 180 degrees. This means turning it so that the head of the mattress is now at the foot of the bed. This step helps distribute wear more evenly across the surface.

Step 3: Realign the Mattress

  • Ensure the mattress is properly aligned with the bed frame or foundation. A centered position on the frame is essential for even support.

Flipping the Mattress

Step 1: Rotate Mattress Over the End of the Base

  • If your mattress is double-sided or designed to be flipped, gently rotate it over the end of the bed base. Make sure to do this with caution and use two people for larger mattresses.

Step 2: Raise the Mattress on Edge

  • Carefully lift the mattress on its edge. This step helps to flip the mattress over and ensures that both sides receive even wear.

Step 3: Lower the Mattress Over

  • Slowly lower the mattress over the bed base. It should now be flipped so that the opposite side is facing up.

Step 4: Align the Mattress with the Base

  • Make sure the mattress is properly aligned with your bed frame or foundation. An even alignment helps maintain the support and comfort of your mattress.
