Comfort Trial

Our Approach to the Comfort Trial

At Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet, the Comfort Trial is offered to help customers confirm mattress comfort at home, not as a return or rental program. Clear guidelines ensure fairness, hygiene, and consistency for all customers while allowing a one-time exchange if comfort is not the right fit.

What Is the Comfort Trial?

The Comfort Trial allows one mattress exchange within 100 nights of delivery or in-store pickup.
Refunds are not available under the Comfort Trial.

The Comfort Trial applies only to eligible mattresses and is designed to help with comfort preference only. It does not replace or extend warranty coverage.

Mattresses marked Final Sale, Clearance, Promotional, or As-Is are not eligible.

What the Comfort Trial Is and Is Not

The Comfort Trial is intended to address comfort preference only.

It is not a return program, refund program, or replacement for manufacturer warranty coverage. Issues related to defects, damage, or wear are handled separately under applicable warranty terms.

Can the Comfort Trial Be Extended to 200 Nights?

Yes. The Comfort Trial is extended to 200 nights when a Furniture Spot waterproof mattress protector is purchased at the time of sale.

To remain eligible for any Comfort Trial:

  • The mattress must remain clean, unstained, odor-free, and hygienic

  • Any stain, odor, contamination, or unsanitary condition immediately voids the Comfort Trial and warranty

  • A waterproof mattress protector is required to maintain eligibility

How the Comfort Trial Exchange Works

All Comfort Trial requests are handled by email only and require written approval.

Requests must be submitted to:
📩 support@furniturespot.ca

Comfort Trial requests are not handled in-store. Walk-ins, verbal requests, or in-person assessments are not permitted.

After written approval is issued:

  • One exchange is permitted per eligible order

  • A mandatory restocking and hygiene handling fee applies

  • Delivery fees apply if delivery is requested

Important Final Terms

Once a Comfort Trial exchange is completed:

  • The replacement mattress is Final Sale, meaning it is not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or another Comfort Trial

  • The replacement mattress remains covered under the applicable manufacturer warranty for structural defects only, as defined by the product’s warranty terms

  • No additional Comfort Trial exchange or exception is available under any circumstance

Comfort Trial Eligibility Summary

The Comfort Trial:

  • Applies only to purchases made directly from Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet or furniturespot.ca

  • Is limited to one trial per customer on their first mattress order, up to four mattresses

  • Provides exchange only, not refunds

  • Does not apply to Clearance, Promotional, Final Sale, or As-Is mattresses

  • Is not valid for purchases made through third-party sellers

What Voids the Comfort Trial

The Comfort Trial is immediately void if:

  • The mattress is stained, soiled, or unsanitary

  • The mattress shows misuse or improper handling

  • The mattress is used without a waterproof protector

  • The mattress is altered, damaged, or used in a commercial or rental setting

Important Process Notice

All Comfort Trial requests must follow the process outlined above.

In-store staff are not authorized to:

  • Inspect mattresses

  • Assess eligibility

  • Approve or deny Comfort Trial requests

Requests that do not follow the required email process will not be reviewed.

Final Confirmation

By completing a mattress purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the Comfort Trial terms listed above, as well as all store policies published at furniturespot.ca.
