Before You Buy (In-Store Price Verification)

If you find a lower price before purchasing, bring the proof with you and we will verify it in store before checkout.

What to bring:

  • A screenshot, flyer, or link showing the competitor’s current advertised price

  • Competitor store name and Nova Scotia location

  • Clear product details to confirm eligibility

Once verified:

  • We will beat the competitor’s price by up to 10%

  • Approval is based on the matching requirements and exclusions listed below

After You Buy (Price Review Within 365 Days)

If you find a qualifying lower price after your purchase, you may submit a request within 365 days from your purchase date.

How to submit:

  • Email support@furniturespot.ca

  • Include your Furniture Spot invoice or receipt

  • Include a screenshot or image of the competitor’s advertised price

  • Include the competitor’s name and Nova Scotia location

Our team will review the request and confirm eligibility. If approved, we will process the price adjustment accordingly.

Eligible Competitor Pricing

To qualify, the lower price must:

  • Be from an authorized retailer operating in Nova Scotia

  • Be a current, publicly advertised price

  • Be for an item that is in stock and available for immediate purchase

  • Be sold under standard retail conditions without restrictions

Product Matching Requirements

Mattresses

  • Brand does not need to be the same

  • Must be at least 85% identical in build, including:

    • Mattress type

    • Layer composition and thickness

    • Overall height

    • Comparable materials and performance characteristics

Furniture

  • Must be identical in brand, model, size, materials, construction, and features

Final eligibility determination is made by Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet.

Exclusions

The Best Price Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Clearance, liquidation, closeout, or going-out-of-business sales

  • Online-only retailers or marketplace sellers

  • Membership-only, employee-only, or loyalty-exclusive pricing

  • Bundle offers, doorcrashers, limited-quantity promotions, or pricing errors

  • Used, refurbished, open-box, or floor models

  • Financing incentives, rebates, coupons, or gift-with-purchase offers
