Same-day delivery may be available for in-store purchases in the Halifax area depending on scheduling. Next-day or 1 to 2 business day delivery is common for most in-store purchases. Choosing a mattress in a showroom is a starting point. We understand that real comfort takes time. Every eligible brand new mattress comes with our Comfort Trial - a one-time exchange program that gives you real time to decide. You have 100 nights to request an exchange if the mattress does not feel right, with a required 21-night adjustment period before submitting a request. The trial is extended to 200 nights when a Furniture Spot waterproof mattress protector is purchased at the time of sale.

To remain eligible, the mattress must stay clean, unstained, and hygienic throughout the trial period. Any stain, odor, or contamination immediately voids the Comfort Trial. A waterproof protector is strongly recommended to protect your eligibility.

The Comfort Trial covers comfort preference only. It is not a return or refund program and refunds are not available under the Comfort Trial. Mattresses marked Final Sale, Clearance, Promotional, or As-Is are not eligible.

A Hygiene & Processing Fee of $47.99 applies to all approved Comfort Trial exchanges. One-time free pickup and delivery for the first approved exchange is included on eligible mattresses meeting these minimum price thresholds: Twin $349 or more, Full/Double $379 or more, Queen $399 or more, King $649 or more. For customers located more than 45km from our Halifax location, a delivery charge equal to 50% of the applicable delivery rate applies in addition to the Hygiene & Processing Fee.

Every brand new mattress purchased from Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet includes a free non-prorated Limited Manufacturer Warranty, unless the mattress is sold as Final Sale, Clearance, Open Box, or As-Is. Warranty duration varies by product and is listed in the product description.

Coverage includes body indentations greater than 1.5 inches measured without weight and not caused by improper support, structural failure or coil collapse, and coils or wires protruding through fabric.

Coverage does not include comfort preference or normal softening over time, body impressions under 1.5 inches, stains, moisture damage, burns, pet-related damage, damage from improper support or non-compliant bed frames, or misuse of any kind.

To protect both your Comfort Trial and your warranty from day one, use a proper bed frame with center support and slat gaps no wider than 6 inches. Rotate your mattress every two months. Use a waterproof mattress protector. Never place your mattress directly on the floor and never bend, fold, or stand on it. Proper care keeps your warranty and Comfort Trial eligibility intact. Skipping the protector is the most common reason customers lose coverage.
